Chad's career has taken him from coast to coast and around the globe, and has included film, television, theater, print, runway and trade shows, as well as work at several of L.A.'s top salons. In addition to a superior level of technical skill, an innate sense of artistry and the confidence of an experienced professional, he brings an easy disposition, an abundance of charm, a great sense of fun and a slightly wicked sense of humor to all of his work.
From "easy" natural looks to precision cuts to classically romantic up-dos to
gravity-defying avant-garde hair sculptures, he has the ability to expertly execute a virtually endless range of designs. "I've resisted specializing in just one area because every person and every situation are different, and if you want to be true to communicating that, your work can't just be a showcase for the one thing you like or do best," says Chad.
Chad began his career in his hometown of Boston and later spent time in Florida before moving to L.A. While his early career focused primarily on salon clients and corporate work, he also regularly pursued freelance creative opportunities. For the past decade, he has shifted his energy to a more full-time emphasis on the fashion, entertainment and media industries. "I enjoy collaborating and being part of a team," he says. "It's rewarding to be able to use my creative skills to help talented people realize their visions. The work isn't just about making people look good, it's about revealing character, expressing a mood or concept, telling a story, or creating a fantasy."
Chad has recently styled celebrities including Paris Hilton, Susan Ward, Tea
Leoni, Dania Ramirez, Janice Dickinson, Traci Bingham, and Alexandra Paul. His film, television and video credits include The Starlet, Extreme Make-Over, 'The Wedding', WB's Superstar USA, The Will, Dr. Phil, 48 Hours, Extra!, Britney Spears' "Oops! I Did It Again" video, and the feature film P.S. Your Cat is Dead. He has worked for top photographers such as Matthew Ralston and designers including Donna Karan, Gucci, Chanel, Hugo Boss and Von Dutch. His work has appeared in numerous publications including Harper's Bazaar, Flaunt, People, and Los Angeles magazines.
